Paul Hanganu loves two women: Adriana his wife and the mother of their daughter, the woman with whom he’s shared the thrills of the past ten years; and Raluca the woman who has made him redefine himself. He has to leave one of them before Christmas.

Dr. Corina Kesler, English and Comparative Lit, U of M
Dr. Corina Kesler (English and Comparative Lit, University of Michigan) will hold a lecture on the (mis)use of the utopian impulse for the purposes of nation-building during two distinct periods: the communist era and post-socialist Romania of the 21st century. Following the lecture, there will be the screening of Tuesday after Christmas (Marti, dupa Craciun, dir. Radu Munteanu, 2010) at 5 pm, and Q&A following the screening.
