Violist Iuliana Ambaruș started her musical studies at the Music School “Ion Vidu” in Timișoara, Romania, and later attended the Music Department of the West University in Timișoara where she studied with Eva Bloch. Early in her career, Ms. Ambaruș started performing for prestigious cultural institutions such as the Timișoara National Theater, the Hungarian State Theater, and the German Theater in Timișoara. In 2008, she joined the Banatul Philharmonic Timișoara and became a member of the Vivo and Volte String Quartets. Ms. Ambaruș performed in numerous festivals as a soloist as well as a member of various chamber music collaborations. Some of those include Timișoara Muzicală,” Festivalul de muzica Noua “Intrada,” Festivalul “Iubiți muzica Românească” in Arad, Festivalul “Meridian” in Bucharest, and Festivalul “Zilele Muzicii Contemporane” in Bacău. Ms. Ambaruș also performed internationally as a member of the National Youth Orchestra and the International Orchestra “Europa Symphony” in Vienna.
